firedog
Live performance from 2007. If you like McCartney at all this is a good listen. Recorded at in record store in performance in LA, surprise appearance. Great set list. Very good band and performance. McCartney was apparently quite affected by the intimate atmosphere and you can hear the emotion in his voice on several songs. Notably, he almost loses it while singing his tribute song to John Lennon, "Here Today". Main listening (small home office): Main setup: Surge protector +>Isol-8 Mini sub Axis Power Strip/Isolation>QuietPC Low Noise Server>Roon (Audiolense DRC)>Stack Audio Link II>Kii Control>Kii Three (on their own electric circuit) >GIK Room Treatments. Secondary Path: Server with Audiolense RC>RPi4 or analog>Cayin iDAC6 MKII (tube mode) (XLR)>Kii Three . Bedroom: SBTouch to Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Setup. Living Room/Kitchen: Ropieee (RPi3b+ with touchscreen) + Schiit Modi3E to a pair of Morel Hogtalare. All absolute statements about audio are false Link to comment

Popular Post graham
Listening to Tone Poet reissue vinyl of this. Like others in the Tone Poet series the mastering and pressing are excellent. I hadn't listened to this Chick Corea album before. It is a superb trio session. 89reksal
"Techno producer Ricardo Villalobos and longtime experimentalist Max Loderbauer were given full access to Munich jazz/out label ECM's vast catalog. The resulting two-disc, two-hour offering is not a remix collection, but rather a rich, complex suite of compositions that converse with ECM's history." (Taken from Pitchfork review). Link to comment
