Popular Post Hugo9000
Claude Debussy La mer/Images pour orchestre/Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune Shui/Singapore Symphony Orchestra Another sonic and artistic marvel from BIS. I think they have the best track record for sound quality of all the labels in my collection, and so many beautiful interpretations as well. If only my treasured RCA performances from the 50s through 70s had such sonics. semente and graham 1 1 请教别人一次是5分钟的傻子,从不请教别人是一辈子的傻子 Link to comment

Popular Post sphinxsix
There is an interesting concept behind this musician's work. Some say it's the jazz of the future. A couple of serious music sites have ranked this album among the top jazz recordings of 2018. IMO some fresh jazzy sounds for sure (and I don't mind the fact that this music has a strong 'dancefloor' element)! Daccord, SuperVesnak and christopher3393 3 Link to comment

Hugo9000
"Ripping" is copying the CD onto a computer, "burning" is the act of taking files and putting them onto a CD-R or CD-RW. 请教别人一次是5分钟的傻子,从不请教别人是一辈子的傻子 Link to comment

I just noted it because when I read "burn," for a millisecond I thought "Now why'd they want to go and do a thing like that?" 😄 One never knows, do one? - Fats Waller The fairest thing we can experience is the mysterious. Popular Post WAM
Perhaps it's called "burning" because you " burn" some sq... I have still not heard a streamer that beats a decent cd-transport (I know... can of worms, my system, my ears, YMMV, etc. etc. (assumption: price of cd-transport = price of streamer+music server; yes, an Aurender A10 sounds better than an medium priced cd player..))
