Darryl R
This was fun -- big band arrangements of Michel's spicy latin jazz (24/96 from Qobuz). jiminlogansquare 1 Link to comment

Darryl R
I was tempted to stay with the Scheherazade theme, but since I'd done that recently, I decided to go with some other Russian music: Link to comment

Didn't have time to get to this one last night, so not exactly an album of the evening, but I really like it too. I've come to prefer artistry over flash in Liszt, but everything seems to be in place here. Musicophile 1 Link to comment

Darryl R
Decades of pop hits, many remastered well at 16/44. IMO Daryl Hall is the greatest pop singer of my generation. His harmonies and arrangements defined the "Rock 'n Soul" "Philly Sound" of the 1970s and 80s. These guys could sing everything. I like the close of this live concert by the Statue of Liberty in 1985 with "Hot Fun in the Summertime" (starting at about 1:06:30).
