qdwieertteyrujpo
Beautiful, velvety voice. I know of four albums of hers, this one for me is her best. Link to comment
qdwieertteyrujpo
Back to topic: The Swiss are a bit slow and sometimes a bit boring. So goes the cliché. Well, there is a part of Switzerland that has the language of Italy, the weather of Italy, most of the food of Italy, and also some outstanding musicians: Bach: Brandenburg Concertos - Diego Fasolis Fasolis' Lugano-based I Barocchisti do an excellent job here, this is anything but boring. Plus, very well recorded. I would have to concur with David in asking the question "excuse me?", especially since the two albums recommended by Musicophile are really outstanding (thank you for that, I did not know my fellow Swiss:-)) Dieter Link to comment
qdwieertteyrujpo
Just to clarify, I was referring to a cliché about a certain nationality, not my personal opinion. Back to topic: Bruckner 8 - Wand - Berliner Philharmoniker i am very well aware of that; my "smilies" most probably got lost in the conversation. What stands is my "thank you" for the recommendations you kindly made at that time. Dieter Link to comment
qdwieertteyrujpo
Firedog, I found it on HDTracks for 88/24; hope that helps. Dieter Link to comment

qdwieertteyrujpo
Here is a brilliant album from a very gifted musician. A modern classic! Anna Von Hausswolff The Miraculous http://tidal.com/album/52315374 Currently listening to "Songs from the Grave". Her voice on this album does remind me of Toyah (which can mean "you have to get used to it:-)). Link to comment
qdwieertteyrujpo
Streamed through Qobuz and listened to while on a Sunday morning stroll through the neighbourhood: Link to comment
qdwieertteyrujpo
Simply great relaxing music with interesting lyrics. And a great voice! If some might think the voice on "Inch By Inch" sounds like Joan Baez..., well she is actually there in a duet with Thea! Link to comment

qdwieertteyrujpo
For me, the early 20th century in Europe is one of the most interesting periods, be that philosophy, literature, or music. The album below for me does represent the different - sometimes rather disparate, as a representation of what was going one - streams of thoughts, feelinge, etc.: Link to comment
qdwieertteyrujpo
I searched for Vienna not Vienne 1900, the limits of search engines being too literal. I had thought more of Amazon search, failed on this one. Many thanks... Thank you all for chiming to locate the album.
