lmc
I have been using a 1TB Oyen Digital Minipro with my Mac Mini and have been extremely pleased with the performance. My problem is that I am running out of space and still have quite a few CD's to go on fully digitizing my collection. Unfortunately, Oyen does not seem to make any bus powered drive with capacity exceeding 1TB. Has anybody tried the OWC Elite-AL Pro Dual Mini: http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/firewire/EliteALmini/RAID/eSATA_FW800_FW400_USB It seems to be a good option and also has the Oxford Chip (936DS instead of the 943 on the Oyen). Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated? Mac Mini (2012) SSD / Lampizator Big 7 / ARC Preamp + Amp / Martin Logan Speakers and Subs. Link to comment
HiFiInsider
I wonder if the 2TB version can be daisy chain via FW800 on Bus Power? http://www.youtube.com/hifiguy528/videos Link to comment
