davide256
I’ve decided to venture into unknown territory ( for me) and use the equalizer and convolution file setup options within Euphony Stylus. I think what I need to do is 1) use a program like REW first to find optimal room placement for the speakers 2) use a program like Audiolense to generate the correction files for input into Stylus wondering a) is REW the easiest windows based software to use for finding best speaker position? b) which level of Audiolense is needed to generate convolution ( time domain?) files? is there an alternative software I should consider for use with a UMIK mic and a 2 channel system? c) are equalization and convolution files both used or does convolution include equalization ? Magnepan 1.7’s have impedance/ phase anomaly above 6k which I suspect is making Enya and choral recordings sound off. And I’m sure the small room size is creating uneven bass Regards, Dave Audio system Link to comment
tyke2806
I would try Focus Fidelity. It produces great results and has a separate application for taking measurements. It is also very straightforward to use. davide256 1 Link to comment
