brianbonf
I am looking for suggestions on a set up for connecting a etherRegen to a Schitt DAC, Gungnir, into a NAD M10. The DAC has few inputs, Coaxial, USB, Optical and BNC, which is preferred per some reviews. I'm not sure how to get from the ethernet cable to one of the DAC inputs. Link to comment
davide256
Gungnir is a traditional DAC, no network board. You would connect it , usually by USB, to a server/endpoint that is connected to the Etherregen Regards, Dave Audio system Link to comment
ericuco
Confused on your setup. The M10 has a DAC so why the Schiit DAC? Assuming you are going Schiit DAC > M10 then, First off, there is no way to connect EtherRegen directly to your Schiit DAC as it does not have an Ethernet port. If you have a computer that is used as a music server, then you can go ER > server > Schiit DAC > M10. If you use a player like HQPlayer and it’s associated NAA (network audio adapter), then server > ER > NAA > Schiit DAC > M10 Eric Audio System Link to comment
brianbonf
Thanks for the information. I have fallen down the DAC rabbitt hole and was trying to up grade the NAD M10. It looks like the best way is to go thru a DAC that has an ethernet connection. Link to comment
