The Computer Audiophile
Hi Guys, I read the HQPlayer manual and can't really figure out how to get convolution working for my 7.1.4 12 channel system. I have filters that work perfect in JRiver and I'd love to get them working in HQP. Any help is much appreciated. Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
Miska
First make sure convolution engine is disabled. Then enable pipeline matrix processing and add your filters to the relevant pipelines. Also check for any necessary channel routing changes. That should be pretty much it. Signalyst - Developer of HQPlayer Pulse & Fidelity - Software Defined Amplifiers Link to comment

The Computer Audiophile
OK guys, I received mono files from @mitchco, so I can start testing HQP with my Atmos system. However, I'm still lost as to what I need to do in the pipeline matrix. It was simple with two channel because I could just split a file into R and L. Audiolense spits out more than 12 mono files. Here's what I have. Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment

Miska
First column matches "pipe X" in the table, source channel matches "source ch" in the table, mix channel matches "mix ch" in the table and process matches the "mono_X" file. Each line in the matrix table is a virtual processing pipeline. It takes audio input from specified source channel, perform a specified process and then mixes output to given output mix channel (matches logical output channels) using given mix gain. Default mix gain is "1" aka 0 dB, IOW no level change. You can save different configurations as "Profiles" you can switch on the fly.
