soundblaster live 24bit external?

Hi.I was wondering what you guy's or girl's think of this external sound card?Im in the process of setting up a system and would like some help.My source is my pc and i have a nad receiver for ampification.Its an older receiver with rca inputs only.I had a few people give me some advice of dac's.The thing is i don't want to spend much money so i can spend 100 to 150 on either a sound card or dac?Would the soundblaster live external card be worth considering or would you go with a cheaper dac?Thanks

Thanks Chris.With this dac would i still need a audio card or would the Realtek ac97 that i have now be ok.

Hi Vinnie - You don't need an audio card and you don't even need your Realtek ac97. The USB DAC becomes your "soundcard."
