But wont complain - I don't have to use it :) Can't wait to hear some opinions from first users. :) Aqua Acoustics La Voce + Gato Audio AMP-150 + Opera Callas speakers Audio PC LPS+Neutrino clock+SoTm USBexp + Win10 + Fidelizer Pro Link to comment

I wouldn't be surprised if this is a similar situation to the Musician Pegasus where the converter design is licensed from denafrips. I've unfortunately not had the chance to test the Pegasus and don't think I'll be getting one of these in so we'll have to see. I'd be pretty interested to see how it behaves though Hopefully doesn't sound like Denafrips Aqua Acoustics La Voce + Gato Audio AMP-150 + Opera Callas speakers Audio PC LPS+Neutrino clock+SoTm USBexp + Win10 + Fidelizer Pro Link to comment

Let it play at least 300+ hours and then compare. Should be more interesting after good while. Specially when listen via USB input. It emphasis lower and mid treble which makes all hihats, cymbals etc make louder. It's far away from neutrality I like. It's much better through I2S. Then sound is more dependent on what's on the other end. And no physical laws has be damned - if you think different show us which law says that this is impossible. Don't need the renderer function, hopefully that can be disabled.... I'm sure just not using it wont be a problem. It is matter of switching between inputs. rafa
Well, problem is in Audio-GD – DI20HE. While there is no I2S global standard DDC's (like Singxer or Gustard does) should have pinout configurable. I don't know why my contact in Audiophonics said that it's their only specifically I2S cable. Because if they remove connections typical for video signal cable is no longer good for TV and then we could say it is "dedicated" for I2S. Standard hdmi cable has 19 pins (connections) while I2S only needs few of them.
