EtherRegen ground?

Saw a suggestion that grounding the EtherRegen might help sound quality. Just wondering to what it should be grounded.

Any ground point. Ones I have used include:

1. A ground point on a piece of hardware - some have them

2. Attachment to a hardware chassis assuming that chassis is grounded properly

3. The ground pin in a UK plug not otherwise wired

I run ground cable from EtherRegen ground screw to an earth spike in my garden.

So I ran an AWG 10 stranded copper from the ground terminal on the EtherRegen to a ground terminal in the power strip, and was rewarded with a rhythmic popping noise on a separate audio system in the same closet (Audioquest Dragonfly on an Intel NUC feeding various wall speakers). Puzzling.

That is odd.  What power supply are you using with the EtherREGEN?
