Jonboylaw
All, Can you please provide a plugin for Allo Attenuator Relay for Volumio3? There is not this an option in the plugin section so I can't use the Attenuator. blake182 1 Link to comment
blake182
An update of the libraries would be great, as well. I'm trying to install "manually" through both the pdf provided on the site as well as the github but they are very outdated. blake182 1 Link to comment
blake182
I've finally gotten to a decent solution. I switched to DietPi running Squeezelite/LMS and can control the relay attenuator using my IR remote. I can control the volume through the CLI but not LMS, yet. If anyone can help me out with this I would appreciate it! If I get it fully working I can make a more detailed write-up. Link to comment
dfreemansc
How did you get it working in dietpi? I’ve just got an attenuator, but can’t get it to work, as wiringpi is not available any more. I’m just starting to wonder if I’ve bought a coaster! Link to comment

It's been a long while so I've forgotten much of what I did. Let me try to throw a few things out there (maybe not in proper order): - In dietpi-config: Audio options > Sound card : allo-boss-dac Advanced options > I2C state : on - In dietpi-software install Logitech Media Server (35) if you plan on using it as your server, Squeezelite (36), WiringPi (70), Samba (1), ALSA (5) The IR remote may be a different subject in itself. Other things I think I did was adding to dietpi's autostart scripts. I know I picked and chose from bits of their original documentation. Hopefully this helps. Let me know if you need more info and I can dig back through it a bit. Maybe we can make a better how-to guide. Link to comment
