Lord Chaos
Ever since I got my Squeezebox I've kind of been desirous of having remote control. The SB3 does have a remote, but in order to use it you have to be looking at the Squeezebox itself. The Slim Devices people must have been reading my mind. They've just introduced a wireless remote control for the Slimserver software. You can continue to use your present SB3 but now you have a device that looks a lot like an Ipod to control the system. If you're new to Slim Devices you buy the Duet system, which includes a Squeezebox and the controller. If you already have an SB, you just buy the controller. Is it worth $300 to me to have remote control? I have to think about this one. Link to comment
The Computer Audiophile
I saw it yesterday and it is nice. I am going back there today hopefully to use it a little. Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
Lord Chaos
Please let me know what you think. From comments I've read on the Slim Devices forum, this controller works much faster and more smoothly than a Web-based program. Link to comment
