He played in Europe this year? I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and Santana is a local band. In the 1980's I would attend his concert almost every year when he played in the vicinity. Then I wasn't as interested in his music after 1997 when the band went for pop hits with Clive Davis, and I stopped going. This coming July 23 he is having a touring concert at Paso Robles California, about 4 hours drive from San Francisco area. He is getting quite old, so I plan to drive south to attend his show.
