Hi,

Should link nirvana power for:

1. dac power entry, and pi3 with generic power supply at same time;

2. Just pi3 with connected boss dac.

Thanks in advance.

We can give dual power supply for Boss player by removing J25 jumper on Boss DAC

Thanks, Audio_Allo,

But another question is the result of yours, for best sound is better feed Pi with OEM power and DAC with Nirvana, or is best use Nirvana to feed both?

Thanks!

We can use nirvana's only one output at a time .

You mean, by connecting two separate nirvana power supplies to Boss DAC and RPI?

I mean,

1. use regular power supply that comes with PI3 for raspberry and Nirvana powering DAC;

2. just Nirvana for all stuff (PI+DAC)? As you know regular power gives to feed this 2 components and just have 2,50 A, Nirvana have 2,85 A.

Hi, I'm in similar situation except running Pi 4 and Boss2, playing music files from USB flash drive.

What's the reason to separate power supply if Nirvana had enough power for all? Just curious to know as someone told me that dirty power supply may have voltage fluctuation for the Pi unit.

Thks!
