Popular Post AfterDark.
AfterDark. Project ClayX Diretta Network Bridge x Giesemann OCXO 10M Master Clock AfterDark. started the development of Diretta and partnership during September. We are delighted to release the latest Diretta which is never seen and build before. The material and chips we use on csustomerise motherboard is leading for Audiophiles, every components is premium and selected to optimise the music experience which never hear before. We designed to use the simple name called Project ClayX Diretta Network Bridge which could reflects the minimist design when we developed them. AfterDark. Project ClayX Diretta device would be the first ever in the world which is build in digital interface outputs module and build in Giesemann Clock for output 10M Reference Master Clock for audiophiles. The upper layer is the called Project ClayX Digital Interface Module. (DIM), This module is very flexible for some customer who requires different digitial features. AfterDark. Project ClayX Diretta Network Bridge The lower layer is called Project ClayX Diretta Lucia - Piccolo, this version is full modified when compared to standard Diretta motherboard. Some of the capacitors is replaced with exotic Audio Grade Capacitor from Audio Note and Floyt. What is Diretta? What is Diretta Network Bridge? The Diretta Network Bridge would be flexible for network streaming music e.g. Roon x Qobuz to play music and with multiple digital outputs. It will be very flexible, when audiophiles has some flagship DAC which is accepting AES Digital, Coaxial Digital, i2S HDMI digital inputs and USB connections. All the digital output will be set to "Always ON" at the same time. Digital signal will be buffered, isolated with the very best Digital Audio Tranformer from Scientific Conversion INC. (Made in USA) and re-clocked with FEMTO Clock from Crystek 957 (Made in USA) (Same specification with EtherREGEN) The Diretta Network Bridge can provide best isolation between DAC and network device, as they are physically isolated. Patatorz
Thanks a lot for the great news. When would it be available ? Do you plan to integrate a 10MHz référence clock input ? AfterDark. 1 Blog / Forum Link to comment

Do you plan to integrate a 10MHz référence clock input ? Hi! Patatorz, Thanks for your interested. We planned to have group buy on the very first model. The price will be very attractive, and we will provide full support on how to setup Diretta with Roon Server, There is different implementation method on official Diretta Lucia - Piccolo motherboard, so the 10M Clock input is not possible. So, we have implemented a Giesemann 10M OCXO module inside for output 10M Reference Clock to external device. e.g, UpTone EtherREGEN or Esoteric DAC. For 10Mhz Reference Clock Input, we have another version of Diretta (Target USB Bridge x64) below which is designed to run with Respberry Pi4 (USB only), we can easily integrate with 10M Reference Clock Input to bypass the clock on CPU, USB, Lan chips. Have a nice day. Best Regards, Adrian AfterDark. GMG
Looks interesting Will you provide a link to the product option and pricing? Have few questions: I got confused a bit about the clock function - is this device using FEMTO Crystek clock or OCXO clock? What OS will it be running? Will you have an option to make it with optical network connection instead of Ethernet? AfterDark. 1 Link to comment
AfterDark.
Hi! GMG, We will have around 3 differents versions which is supported and designed from Diretta, they are running with Diretta ASIO OS, which is closed source code and every Project ClayX Diretta Network Bridge will comes with purchased full license. The pricing will be avaliable very soon this week. Three Versions: AfterDark. Project ClayX Diretta Network Bridge - Piccolo Edition (Lastest Model with Ethernet Lan port) AfterDark. Project ClayX Diretta Network Bridge - Lucia Edition (Flagship Model with choice of SFP or Lan port) AfterDark. Project ClayX Diretta Network Bridge - Raspberry Pi4 Edition (Full OCXO optimised possible, with special request made to order for customer) Have few questions: I got confused a bit about the clock function - is this device using FEMTO Crystek clock or OCXO clock? The digital interface board is optimised with FEMTP Crystek Clock For OCXO clock, it is a Giesemann OCXO Clock build in for output 10M Reference Clock signal to external devices. What OS will it be running? Diretta ASIO OS, which required full license to activate. Will you have an option to make it with optical network connection instead of Ethernet? There is Flagship model called Diretta Lucia, which is build in SFP cage for optical network connection This version is coming soon too. Thanks for your interested, Best Regards, Adrian AfterDark. GMG
Thanks Adrian, So I understand correctly that for Piccolo and Lucia the OCXO is only for output to other device and the internal function of the bridge is utilized by Crystek, and for Raspberry Pi4 Edition the OCXO is used for both the internal function of the bridge and output for other devices and has no Crystek clock? Is this correct? Link to comment
AfterDark.
Hi! GMG, That is correct. 😀 Best Regards, Adrian AfterDark. Barnabas
Hi Adrian, am I right in saying that I’d be able to select my own software for the Pi4 version, and what type of power supply will it have (internal or external)? Link to comment
