Nirvana SMPs power dip?

Recently my RaspDAC-Mini setup (Audiophonics DAC with latest Volumio) started showing the ‘underpowered’ sign (yellow lightning bolt), both during startup and playback—even after several system reboots. This was a problem that I thought I had definitively solved by using the Nirvana power supply (btw, great product!). To my surprise, the sign fully disappeared after switching off / on again of the Nirvana. Very strange… Is it theoretically possible that in some circumstances the Nirvana indeed requires a ‘reboot’ to solve a power dip? Thanks.
