We designed this Thermo Kits for EtherREGEN. The thermo material which we choose is based on our experience to build a fanless i7 Roon Server on passive cooling to the chassis. This is very suitable for transfering heat effectively from EtherREGEN to the oversized Aluminum Heatsink. After applying the Project ClayX Black Modernize Thermo Kits, the EtherREGEN will have positive improve on sounding and creates better operational temperature to work for better air ventilation.

 

The Project ClayX Black Moernize Kit will help to lower the temperature around 15C or 59F optimised for EtherREGEN and continue perform heat transfer via the Thermo Epoxy and Black Modernize Heatsink.

The kit will included a thermal pad in Grey color + Heatsink, the thermal pad is designed to placed between ER and Heat Sink, the thermal pad is sticky, re-usable, which can safely remove by hand after applied. So this kit will not damage the surface of EtherREGEN.

Thanks for your message and questions.

 

We found most electronic components working at optimal stage at moderate temperature. That is the reasons and ideas some high end computer runs water-cooling to make music server for HQPlayer. 
 

The next project we starting is to build the server which can run HQplayer on water cooling computers. The water cooling can help to transfer heat effectively with the heat radiator. The sounding will be improved too.
 

At high temperature, most devices will sound dull with some high pitch and edges which can easily removed by lowering the heat of chassis. Due to demand on addressing the issue, this may help to solve this problem.

Thanks for your message. We are delight to have some products which suit your requirements. AfterDark. will release modified version of DELA S100 and Buffalo GS-BS2016 which is build in OCXO with 2 SFP ports at the back and choices of 1000M/100M x 16 ports.

 

This version is well known and paised by Audiophiles and the sounding will be outperform Innuos Phenix Net in a fraction of price. 

 

In additon, the OCXO modules will be build in side the same chassis, with options of using the external input of LPS etc. We hope this version can give more flexiblilty to audiophiles for using their own audiophile power supply such as Farad Super3.
