semente
A few seconds ago (in the history of mankind) there was no such recorded/reproduced music. Many people knew by heart sung popular or traditional unwritten music, some people played instruments as amateurs and others were professional singer-songmakers. People of low and high class would entertain themselves with complex dances that involved large groups of participants. I believe this to be the case still in rural Afghanistan today, although probably segregated (men don’t generally socialise with women in Muslim countries, or Hindu countries for that matter). Singing should be a fundamental right, like laughing (I am reminded of a scene from The Name of the Rose which takes place in the Middle Age Europe). sphinxsix 1 "Science draws the wave, poetry fills it with water" Teixeira de Pascoaes HQPlayer Desktop / Mac mini → Intona 7054 → RME ADI-2 DAC FS (DSD256) Link to comment
