LittleVillage
Setup my relatively new Rpi4 DigiOne via Roon and while I have no problem streaming 44 or 48kHz (sounds great and works flawlessly), there's no sound coming through on higher rez PCM, just some faint digital noise. I've tried 2 different DACs and several coax cables all with the same result. Even tried reflashing the OS from DietPi to Ropiee, same result. Using the USB outputs from the RPi board there's no issue at 96,192 or even DHD into the same DAC. Both DACs accept 96/192 kHz via SPDIF no problem (confirmed with CCA via optical). I've also tried updating DietPi and everything else. With Qobuz forcing more and more albums to 24/96, this is a real problem. Out of ideas, I'd appreciate any help! Link to comment

LittleVillage
To close the loop on my OP, it appears my original board was defective. Allo shipped me a replacement which arrived very quickly and it is working perfectly. I didn't change any settings in Roon or in AlloGUI so I believe that rules out any user error on my part initially. The installation took maybe three minutes. Happy with the Allo team's overall responsiveness. In the interim it was nice to experience just how well the native USB output of the RPI4 sounds. Link to comment
