Darryl R
Nothing new here, but since you might be wanting a survey, thought I'd chime in. Almost always classical, mostly from Qobuz and Presto, unless price is lower, which I've found to be the case on HighResAudio when available. To a lesser extent eclassical, NativeDSD, and e-onkyo/mora.jp, these last two for Japan-only releases of legacy classics. I also value info about derivation of different formats, and as stated above, some are better than others about providing it. I once questioned HighResAudio about a 24/192 release, and their response was only that "24/96 is good enough." Maybe it is, but in some cases 24/192 is newer and better (esp. for Universal legacy classics, a longer story ...). The Computer Audiophile 1 Link to comment

Popular Post PeterG
Only Qobuz--it's easy and reliable. But I only purchase when CD is not available. Used to buy HD Tracks regularly, but too many downloads had disappointing SQ The Computer Audiophile and Uncoy 1 1 Link to comment
PAP
BandCamp works fine for buying CD's. I can recommend the https://carmengomes.bandcamp.com/ site. And especially the Sound Liaison CD's but a couple of her earlier works from the pre Sound Liaison period are very good sonically as well. The Computer Audiophile 1 Link to comment
Popular Post Davidny
Pro Studio Masters for FLAC 24/96 from multiple labels such ad Pentatone, Chandos DG eClassical has lot of BIS recordings NativeDSD has the most DSD files including DDD256 and DSD512 which are expensive but can sound heavenly High Definition Tape Transfer for golden oldies The Computer Audiophile and PAP 1 1 Link to comment
Popular Post MadCow
Missed this topic the first time around, but typically in this order depending on availability: 1) HDTracks 2) Bandcamp 3) Tidal (Qobuz, et al are not available in my region.) Though reading what people are commenting about HDTracks' redownload policy, I guess I'm going to swap #1 and #2 from now onwards. PAP and The Computer Audiophile 1 1 Link to comment
Popular Post coke
Normally, I purchase from Qobuz, but I look on other sites since I like house music. I compare on Traxsource, Beatport, and also get a lot from Bandcamp for non-house music. Qobuz usually has the better price and for those 2-track EPs, Qobuz expands that to four or five tracks. A much better deal! The Computer Audiophile and PAP 1 1 Link to comment

Stopped HDtracks due to no -re-download. Silly.... HDtracks has been powered by OraStream (for just over a year now). There is a self-service feature for users to re-download their recent download orders using the web downloader (My Downloads) and the HDtracks desktop downloader app. SO the policy on no re-downloads is no longer true. I hope this clarification is useful. The Computer Audiophile, Uncoy and PAP 2 1 Link to comment
