Allo Boss2 - No Boss2 error message

Recommended Posts

My Allo Boss2 with dietPi has been running well for a couple of months.

However it no longer shows up as a Roon endpoint on I am getting a "No Boss2" on the unit's screen. This has happened since updating latest Roon version.

Any advice on how to reconnect would be much appreciated.

In Dietpi Allo GUI ,selected sound card as Allo Boss 2 DAC and rebooted the player?

Can you please login to the player through ssh and share below command result

aplay -l   (Lower case of L)

Can you please login to the player through ssh and share below command results

Hello

Thank  you for  reply. I will try to SSH   this  evening. Meantime - yes, I have  selected Boss2 as the  I2S DAC and  re-booted. What  I  suspect, is, that  my  config file   is empty. I suspect,  it has  to have there " dtoverlay with dtoverlay=allo-boss2-dac-audio" ???

Might  this cause problems  in Moode?

Thanks  for  any advise

Harry

Yes /boot/config.txt has to be there .

Can you please download moode from below link and flash to SD card using etcher tool and check
