Bach Cello Suits from PS Audio

Hi Kal-- Big fan by the way..  I'm fine with a download but like having the media in hand as well. I still spin discs (sacd and cd players)

OK.  I do not know why the discs should present any problems with ripping but, if you buy the discs, you get "hybrid SACD discs with a master stereo and multichannel DSD layer and a CD layer, plus a DVD data disk with high-res PCM and DSD files. "  So, no need to rip.

 

(I've not heard the multichannel yet but the DSD64 stereo is superb.)

Thanks Kal-- I just wanted them on my Aurender as well as being able to spin.

I found out today that the download version is ONLY 2 channel not multi-channel. I have sent PS Audio an inquiry about this, as the website doesn't warn that the download does not have the multi-channel version, but have not heard back yet. This album was recorded a few miles from my home at the Mesa Arts Center, where I've been many times! And I've heard and met Zuill Baily there - he directs their classical programs. I have a front row seat for him there next April!
