Sonic77
AS is not doing any analyzing at all for me, it stays stuck at the very beginning of the meter. Link to comment

RickB68
In my system, the 1.2 update seems to have changed the sound again, it's more like 3.5. szczemirek 1 Link to comment
Jud
From the wording of the switch, I wonder if the analysis is the same, but it simply doesn’t write the tags to your local files unless you opt in. RunHomeSlow
My database was done, since testing the beta. yes the tag was applied, on 40000 files, maybe 1000 got another artist added to my perfectly tagged database for me. I had to remove those, worked maybe 4hours, now database is perfect like before. So, i decided to left ‘on’ the tag to continu to be added. 3.2 to 3.5 messed things up way more if i remembered well. It would be funny if people just waited to be able to ‘not add’ that simple tag that you don’t see anyway, to see it all analyze again without the tag 😀 If You Got Ears, You Gotta Listen – Captain Beefheart MacMini 2018, 4xi3 3.6GHz, SSD, 20Gb, macOS Sonoma > Audirvana Origin > Wyred DAC2 DSD Special Edition > Proceed AMP2 > Focal Cobalt 826 Signature Series > Audirvana Remote > iPhone 13 Link to comment

I just copied a new album to my library. AS synced and analyzed it, but afterwards I checked the files with Kid3 and there were no Musicbrainz tags added to it. Jud 1 Link to comment
Popular Post Musicophile
I'm also on 1.2.0 now with the write option off, and the analysis went very fast, with no discernible changes to my original music files any more. Finally, I can start evaluating the software. Oh wait, but where's the remote again? 🙄 I feel somewhat sorry for Damien and team, but this is not how you want to launch your new paid subscription model. pl_svn and RickB68 1 1 Check out my blog at musicophilesblog.com - From Keith Jarrett to Johannes Brahms Link to comment
fheller
Version 1.2 is a good step in the right direction. High Res Audio streaming is more stable (much better than ever before in 3.5) Now I look forward testing the remote, which will be here soon (hopefully). Errors with Dac recognition and stability need still to be addressed. I am more optimistic now. Link to comment
Popular Post Musicophile
Damien would have been smarter had he called this a public beta test or something around these lines instead of calling it a launch. Yes, seems to happen (to me, anyway) after a fair amount of time (at least several tracks or albums) playing normally, not initially. jos 1 One never knows, do one? - Fats Waller The fairest thing we can experience is the mysterious. Yeah. Had he done so I wouldn’t have installed AS on day 1… and I wouldnt have begun a Roon trial last weekend. With a purchase model, I can understand the justification for some to be users of Roon and Audirvana. Not so sure I’ll be likely to subscribe to both. Link to comment

RickB68
It's now possible to subscribe to Studio (Settings/My Account - Manage Your Account), but I don't see how you get the discounted price of $50 for the first year for 3.5 owners. I only see the $69.99 price. Link to comment

Happens here too. After about 10 min, hick ups start. I don't use up sampling. I have a powerful win 10 PC, which has no issues with HQPlayer and Roon. lucretius 1 Link to comment

In the past, even if an opera recording was unidentified, the titles of the acts/scenes were not always the same as my meta-data. I think this was changed in 1.8, though, so you are probably correct. Popular Post AudioDoctor
Audirvana finished analyzing my local music files and nothing changed. ON the left is my music backup on my ZFS based server. on the right is the USB drive connected to my Mini that AS "analyzed." It says there are no differences from before the local disk was analyzed.
