Popular Post JoeWhip
Personally, I have no issue with the subscription model. It really isn’t that much. I have been using A+ since about 2013 and have really enjoyed it. I really don’t stream much and use it to play my local files. I will check out the trial version for a month. If it sounds better, I am in. The SQ is all that interests me. Da Horsey and Jud 2 Link to comment
JoeWhip
Good to hear. When the app is available, I will give it a try. Link to comment

JoeWhip
Been busy with some other stuff the last couple of days but noted this morning that my iPad updated to the new remote app so I downloaded Studio. Been listening tonight and am quite happy with the boost in SQ. Will have to subscribe. Oh well. Link to comment
JoeWhip
AS found all of my album art unlike when I upgraded to 3.0. Link to comment
Popular Post JoeWhip
AS sounds fantastic on my 2014 MacBook Air. Best SQ yet from Damien. erikd, Da Horsey and jos 3 Link to comment
Popular Post JoeWhip
I am subscribing as the SQ is a clear improvement over 3.5. I only listen to local files and the interface and app work great for me. Could they be improved? Sure. What can’t be improved. I have the program because of the SQ, that’s really all that matters to me. wdw and jos 2 Link to comment
Popular Post JoeWhip
My AS trial ended so before I paid up yesterday, I went back to listening to the latest version of 3.5. No contest. I immediately activated the subscription. Musicophile, Jud and rruffin 2 1 Link to comment
JoeWhip
Being a Mac user I have been a big fan of Audirvāna. Been using it since I first got into computer based playback in 2014 with a MacBook Air. The software kept getting better over the years as the SQ kept improving. Studio took the SQ to another level. I received my new MacBook Pro with the M1 chip early yesterday. Thanks Apple. Deactivated the software from my Air after I migrated everything over, activated AS and hooked up a new 4TB external drive which was a clone of the 2TB I was using. Within minutes all of the files were there and all the album Art to. The sound with the new laptop is another level of improvement, sounds wonderful. Many thanks Damien. rruffin 1 Link to comment
JoeWhip
Great to see you have figured it out. I use AS into my Yggy LIM and it plays my DXD files automatically at 24 or 32/192. Didn’t to do anything, although I bipass all processing and let the Yggy do that work. Link to comment
JoeWhip
I have to wonder if AS is optimized for the newest Macs. I have a 2022 Mac Book Pro with the M1 Pro chip and 16GB of ram, getting stellar SQ and no bugs whatsoever. Link to comment
JoeWhip
It happened to me as well. As I recall, a box appeared below to fix it and I clicked on it and it hasn’t reappeared. Everything is working fine. Using the LIM. Link to comment
JoeWhip
Looked in the forums. Perhaps it was fixed in the latest update. A solution was to disable spotlight. Link to comment
