Denafrips DACs might not actually be NOS?

Usually more than PCM DACs do. Since typical DSD conversion section is clock rate dependent analog filter. Whereas PCM conversion section doesn't include filtering.

 

Then typically in either case, following the conversion section is normal analog low-pass filter.

Sorry if someone's else already shared this.

Michaele Lavorgna (Twittering Machines) in his PONTUS II review refers @GoldenOne 's review of ARES II and Denafris DACs not being non-oversampling.
Apparently, the response of Denafrips (through their distributor) was; “…the NOS is indeed non-oversampling. But non-oversampling doesn’t mean the digital signals are not processed.”
