Apple DLNA app with Tidal help

We installed the Mconnect paid version on his iphone and ipad but both came back with something like not available on his plan. I assume this is to do with his Tidal subscription but he is on the Premium plan.

TIDAL Premium is the lower of two tiers - are you confusing it with TIDAL HiFi?

What TIDAL streaming quality settings has the mconnect Player app been configured with?

BTW, I can't think of any UPnP/DLNA controller apps on Apple's iOS devices, other than the mconnect Player ones, that can provide TIDAL (or Qobuz) access on their own. Other iOS controller apps require you run helper or media server software on a computer or NAS on the same network, such as the Logitech Media Server for the iPeng app already mentioned, or the BubbleUPnP Server helper application for the Linn Kazoo app.

We are far more united and have far more in common with each other than things that divide us.
