AudioDoctor
The chain is, my M1 Mini running Audirvana 3.5 to a Pi4 running Ropiee XL via UPnP to my Yggy, which has a limit of 24/192. however... No electron left behind. Link to comment
AudioDoctor
The only answer I can think of is that Audirvana IS resampling the file to PCM but there is a bug and its not showing that to me. No electron left behind. Link to comment
JoeWhip
I will have to check but I use my iPad to control Audirvana and on the app, when I play any DSD into my Yggy, it will show that it is playing it as 24/176.4. AudioDoctor 1 Link to comment

AudioDoctor
audirvana is not using more than 1.5% CPU and often ~.7% CPU. No electron left behind. Link to comment
AudioDoctor
I did an experiment. First, I restarted the computer to start fresh, and then I set it to upsample to DSD128 which it says is the max rate. I clicked play. it played. No electron left behind. Link to comment
AudioDoctor
HQPlayer gives the expected result so my hypothesis is there is a bug in Audirvana. No electron left behind. Link to comment
JoeWhip
Weird, but if you are getting sound out of the Yggy it is getting fed pcm. Check the lights on the front. Which are on when playing DSD files. If the 44.1 light is on and the 4x light then you are getting 24/176.4. May want to reboot the Yggy too. Link to comment
