Popular Post ARQuint
Robert Harley, Editor-in-Chief of The Absolute Sound and my boss, underwent emergency coronary artery bypass surgery yesterday at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque. This really came as a surprise to many of us who know Robert: he's slender and takes very good care of himself, and was on his daily morning run when he developed shortness of breath and chest pain. Fortunately, he got to the hospital quickly, had urgent catheterization, and then surgery when it was discovered that he had 4-vessel disease that wasn't amenable to the placement of stents. Obviously, Robert will be out of commission for a while. For that time, Jon Valin will be running the magazine from an editorial standpoint with loads of technical support from the rest of our team. He's doing well post-operatively but the days following surgery are critical. So keep Robert in your thoughts and send those positive vibrations, analog or digital, his way. ARQuint
Happy to report that Robert went home today - five days after 4-vessel CABG surgery. I'd say that went well. Superdad 1 Link to comment
