allo BOSS2 Player Question

Hi,

I installed the OLED program on allo BOSS2 PLAYER using DietPi (Diet_RPi-ARMv8-Buster),

but could not continue due to a PYTHON erroor. Is there a solution?

Currently the application works with python 2.7 only

 

So please use below Dietpi version

By the way, have you ever tested with piCorePlayer 7.0.0?
I'm in trouble because there is no sound even though it is compatible.

I received my Boss2 today, configured piCorePlayer 7 and had no sound,

finally got very low volume with Squeezelite output setting = sysdefault:CARD=Boss2

 

Have not got Oled working yet.

 

Audio_Allo please test with   piCorePlayer 7 and advise how to get the Boss2 to work.

It seems that the way to increase the volume of sound with piCorePlayer is to log in with ssh and use alsamixer to increase the volume of Boss2DAC.

Thank you, I was going to edit my post when the administrators passed it to say ssh to the piCorePlayer, alsamixer, F6 to see the players and then up-arrow to increase the volume.

 

Oled will be nice, but it is not a showstopper if it isn't working.

Just a quick follow up, in Squeezelite settings, I set the "Unmute ALSA control" to "Master" , saved and did a backup on the main page and now the Boss2 starts at the full volume.

on web GUI Tweaks page user commands type below line and save

Space is mixing between  tce-load and wi , wi and  iproute2.tcz
