Ethernet Surge filter for Audio improvements?

I don't know about the one you mentioned but me and a friend both own an Emo System EN-30 ($172.49) and we both liked the improvement they brought to our systems.

A subtle lowering of noise floor and its benefits: slightly longer decays, better microdynamics and instrument outlines. Not night and day, but the price is not so high too, so worth it.

 

I don't remember who recommended it before, must be buried in a forum somewhere but I am too lazy to Google it.
