It's April Fools official - Schiit to be made in China from 2022 on!

Schiit's Jason Stoddard has officially confirmed that all Schiit products will be manufactured in China from 2022 on (but still designed by the Schiit US team). "We simply cannot compete anymore with cheaper audio products from the People's Republic of China" said Stoddard.

Since the article has been removed, I will only add that Jason Stoddard said that in January 2022 the first Schiit's mini system(!), designed with accordance to Schiit's new Modular Audio Optimization philosophy and produced in China should hit the market.

It will be simply called MAO.

I totally agree! 

I can also point to about dozen of other topics which could have such a disclaimer too although not posted on April 1st
