Quick question - Allo Boss Dual PSUs

Hi! I have a quick question for the forum. I have a an Allo Boss with an RPi 3+. I need to add a HDD to the RPI to hold my music library so I believe that i need to have a PSU on both the RPi and Boss. From reading the forum posts can i just confirm the following;

1. To to this I simply remove the jumper off of the Boss

2. When powering up its best to have the boss powered up first, then the power up the RPi.

3. To get started I could use a "normal" PSU for the Boss - like from another RPi

I would have thought it would be better to boot up the RPi first, after all that is the processor and then the DAC after that.  Then again, it may not make a difference.  If you're concerned with the PSU then use one for each and see how it works out.

Hi Stephen, thanks for the reply. I went with dual PSUs in the end. I purchased them from the PiHut. So far everything seems to working OK. I have a Seagate HDD connected and I'm using Volumio.
