I have previously tested several 12cm ethernet links and had found significant differences in sound quality. This one I can describe as having more 'clockiness' (my new word). It's as if I have reduced the phase noise from my AfterDark Giesemann King by a few more notches. All the normal improvement areas are there, but especially notable is the incredibly potent and vibrant bass. Such differences from such a short link! Beware that the cable is not very bendy or twisty, so plan your cable run carefully. For me, the close coupling of my EtherREGEN and ultraRendu are perfect. Highly recommended if you can accommodate it. Every other component has a Schramm on top. Nice and heavy and wonderful value from Amazon. The ER runs cooler than before with the heatsink, the uR even cooler still.
