Audiophile Fuse for Schiit Yggy?

Hello everyone, 

I'm thinking of upgrading the stock fuse in Schiit Yggy with Orange Fuse from Synergistic Research. 

 

Have anyone upgraded the fuse and may I know your impressions?

 

What specs of the fuse should I choose for the Yggy?

I use the stock fuse. A friend did try I believe it was the Orange fuse in his Yggy and didn’t hear a difference.  Of course YMMV.

I think five years ago I bypassed all my fuses in my set-up with the same wire as my power cords (AWG 11).

It sounds MUCH better, I had no issues so far and never looked back.

Just my honest answer.

Well, if you did that here in the US and it started a fire, bye bye insurance.  I would not recommend bypassing fuses. Some modded Fuses on Yggys by wraping the fuse with copper foil. I would not recommend that either.

Yes a friend did it to his. I think he has since removed it. If you use a SR fuse, be sure you get the right one as some people have had bad luck with them blowing too easily.

I have tried a lot of diffrent fuses, both in amps and dacs. The best ones so far..belive It or not, Is from Russ Andrews. Like a fresh breeze thru out the system. Nothing stands out, just more air, imaging, details and dynamics..
