I love hearing Bach on the guitar or lute.  I have recordings of the six cello suites and the sonatas and partita (in SACD no less).  I also have many of transcriptions of the English Suites and some of the French Suites.

I have that.  Also several tracks featuring Chris Thile and Mike Marshall.  And Edgar Meyer as well.  He did transcriptions of three of the cello suites for double bass.  Some jazz artists gotten into the act.  Jacques Loussier most famously, but I don’t own any of his recordings.

 

And there’s always “Switched on Bach.”

I love all of Busoni's transcriptions for piano, especially the Chaconne and Bach's organ works. This CD is essential!
