I certainly know what happens when digital gear is not robust enough - the broadband communications box in our house - standard issue throughout the country - couldn't handle a couple of power outages, and did a dead bug trick on us; nothing else in the house went down. The chap replacing it didn't bother to bring in test gear - he knew it was going to be dud ... No excuses for crap engineering - when it matters. In audio, often far more subtle - right on the borderline of being detectable, by ear. Hence, this thread ... good idea! sandyk 1 Link to comment
