Popular Post The Computer Audiophile
Hi Guys, I just woke up to this ongoing message scam. A scam operation is signing up for a massive number of accounts right now (currently over 500 accounts) and PM'ing people a link to a lottery scam. It's pretty sophisticated in that all the IP addresses, email providers, and countries of origin are different. I'm working on it now. No need to report anything. bubbamike, Confused, RickyV and 7 others 4 6 Founder of Audiophile Style Announcing The Audiophile Style Podcast
Popular Post The Computer Audiophile
OK, all the scam spam PMs have been removed, users banned, and unfortunate adjustments made to the PM system. If anyone hits the new limits set on PMs just let me know and I'll move to plan B. sphinxsix, skatbelt, davide256 and 6 others 2 7 Founder of Audiophile Style Announcing The Audiophile Style Podcast
Popular Post The Computer Audiophile
Also, people seem to think the site was hacked because someone sent a PM to them. Think about it for a second. You don’t have to hack a site to send a message. I’ve removed all the PMs, so clicking on them won’t get you anywhere. They don’t last for two long as she does still have stamina issues related to that horrible accident. Well worth it though. AudioDoctor

Just start typing and the available usernames will pop up. If you don’t care who it’s going to, as long as it goes to someone, then it doesn’t matter, just pick some names. Our system then sends you the message without exposing anything to the sender. 7 hours ago, Currawong said: They didn't. Oh yes, we have invisible captcha enabled. Nowadays it’s never a bot. It’s groups of real people working in very low wage countries, being exploited by others, manually doing everything. It’s a balance between usability for the 99.9999% of good people and security against the 0.0001% of “others.” I got nothing to hide, so try to give as much info as people want about this stuff. Plus, I get great feedback from you guys. This community is far smarter than me, so it’s all welcomed.
