Require Allo support for its product

Hi Allo,

I have to post here since I cannot get any support through allo website or your formal email, I’m not sure whether the allo.com is just a ghost website.
I have two questions,

1. I see Chicagodist is still selling case for katana dac, but I see with or without isolator support version has some different, I would like to know whether without isolator support version can be used for katana 1.2?

2. I bought digione sig as second hand last year and it stopped working, I have the receipt from original owner but it’s out of 1 year warranty , how can I get service? Thanks.

Although allo.com looks legit, I’m not sure why they won’t support their product from there. I think my questions are very common.

I used to have many allo products and still have katana and shanti but I’m sure I won’t buy any of their products anymore!!!

Peter, why does it matter to you where support is given? Allo has been a supporter of Audiophile Style for years and we like hosting its support forums. It also gives exposure to Allo products to AS community members who might not be familiar with them.

I have complained about this before but since someone from the site is here I'll say it again. This forum is of limited help to people interested in Allo products because just about all Allo ever says here is "Sent PM" This forum would be much more useful, especially to Allo, if they would post information to this forum. I check in from time to time but I find posts made by them at DIYAudio much more informative and interesting. I do hope this forum could become a better source of info.

Actually before post here I sent many messages to allo through their website and their supporting email. With more than two weeks, no response. If you were me, what can you do? I found this allo is more active on this forum, so I tried to post here to see whether I could get any luck.

Sorry about some emotional words but I’m frustrated about allo’s supporting for both pre sale and post sale.

It seems they have some skill to develop good stuff but ....

1. Regrading case , 10mm height difference is there ,so we cannot use .

2. Which OS (Player ) you are using with digione signature player?

    Forwarded PM ,asking details also

I have recently bought allo boss dac 1.2 from online store fabtolab.com. I have connected the dac to rpi 3b+ . I have a power amp without any pre which i have connected to dac using rca to rca cable.

Issue is that when the input cables are not connected to dac the amp is dead quiet. But when I connect the input cables to dac rca out there is faint hum in the amp which noticeably audible at nearfield listening. This is happening even if no power supply is connected to amp or rpi board.

Please guide is this the dac issue and it needs replacement or it is normal for the dac (which definitely should not be the case),

Thanks a lot.
