Nest Mini (2nd Gen) External Speaker Mod

Schada

Question

Hey guys.  I hope this is the right forum to be asking this question but I'm working on modding my Google Nest Mini by disconnecting it's internal speaker and plugging into a home audio receiver (Denon DRA-395).  I've attached a very simple diagram of what I've got, I just don't know how to properly connect them.  Do I need to use ohm resistors?  Can I just twist the leads together? Etc.  Any help or just a point in the right direction is appreciated.

Thanks.

I think you would have an impedance mismatch where the signal to your receiver would likely be (just a guess here) very low.

I would suggest you go with the Google Home Mini - it has an output jack meant for headphones but that may work for an AUX input as well.
