Desktop Speakers For Apple Pro Display XDR

Recommended Posts

The LS50's and the Tune Tots are roughly the same size but that's all relative.  If it gives you the sound your looking for so be it.  From some of your pictures Chris you probably have enough space to try them out on the desk and near field monitoring can sound amazing.  The best near field set up I had was a pair of Mackie hr824mkii studio monitors.  I used this for recording guitar mostly but man in the sweet spot you'd be floored when listening to music and watching videos.  I could have cared less about how it looked at the time.

Agree. I just had to get it.

Plus, I had to get the $200 web cam built specifically for this display because the quality is better than the others and thus display has no built-in camera.

When I was considering the Mac Pro I was going to do the same thing.

No electron left behind.

If I were looking at Genelec I'd consider the One line up.

Speaking of monitors. I’ve heard these. They are crazy good.

Barefoot MicroMain 27

For their size and budget you may as well then get the better version - the Kii3.

Many people don't know Bruno P worked with Barefoot on designing their earlier MicroMains, before designing his own Kii3's...

I didn’t know that. I thought Thomas Barefoot was the designer.

Yes "Bruno P worked with Barefoot" - Bruno worked with Thomas :-)

The amp section I believe - as it uses Hypex.

Then Bruno went all out on Kii3's
