Intel i5 Quad-core Music Server - Ubuntu Studio

Andrew at Small Green Computer built this custom fanless music server in Nov 2014. It was used as my main music server running HQP Desktop and Roon Core Server until about a year ago when I updated my music server.

CPU: Intel i5 quad-core

Power: external power supply, when in service a HD Plex LPS was used, included in this sell is the original SMPS brick (brick has a loose piece internally - shake the brick and hear a rattle - that said, it does work properly)

OS: Ubuntu Studio 20.04 (recently upgraded)

Software: HQP Desktop 4.8.1 (license is NOT included)

Cooling: fanless (heatpipes)

Case: Perfect Hometheater FLM-7 (black), there are a few very small scratches

When in service, I had an Intel X520-DA1 NIC (not included) installed so you could use it as a HQP NAA with fiber optic input, similar to a Sonore opticalRendu.

Price ($200) includes PayPal fees and shipping to CONUS.

Ubuntu Linux box (i7-12700K, 12 cores, 32GB RAM, Intel X520-DA1 NIC, HQP Desktop) > fiber > MikroTik CRS305-1G-4S+ > fiber > fitlet2 (HQP Embedded OS - NAA) > T+A DAC8 DSD > Rogue Audio DragoN > Klipsch La Scala — digital volume control with HQP, DSP with HQP convolution
