It was more of a comment section on a blog than a forum. You've come a long way Chris! Here is to many more years. Doing the math, I have made 2.1 posts per day since then. lucretius, DuckToller, mav52 and 6 others 1 8 No electron left behind. Link to comment

But there is a guy who's been here since the day one and who posted on average 5.66 times per day, guess who's that.. BTW the 13th year of the AS/CA existence has been for obvious reasons quite let's say ..an interesting year for the world, let's just hope the 14th one will be a little less interesting and that we will be able to forget about both covid and ..MQA AudioDoctor and daverich4 2 Link to comment

You have me beat by nine months. 😊 I signed up September 27, 2009 (11 years and 3 months ago). Doing math for mine would be 0.6 posts per day or little over ½ of a post per day. elcorso, MetalNuts and AudioDoctor 2 1 I have dementia. I save all my posts in a text file I call Forums. I do a search in that file to find out what I said or did in the past. I still love music. Teresa Link to comment
Popular Post DuckToller
I signed up just over 12 years ago... First of all Felicitations to Chris and you! You could actually sit together with a cup of tea, discussing personally your systems, Japanese jazz quartetts or MQA or whatever, if I am not mistaken. Sounds a bit like a privilege !!! Moreover your threadline sounds a bit like you are at the point for coming of age. Can we expect even more adolescent emotions and sophomoric humor from now on? ;-) Re. hiding your face: I'd bet your mask is just about hiding this teenage plague ... Best wishes from France for another healthy and joyful 12 years in this hobby and this premises. Plus an enchanting festive season for all of you. Tom AudioDoctor and elcorso 1 1 Link to comment

Tom I actually took this picture at the Drs office a while back, this was the mask they gave me to wear, before we were all wearing them and they were mandated. I thought it made me look like a bank robber so I took the photo. elcorso, Teresa and DuckToller 2 1 No electron left behind. Link to comment

I beat you by a month and 12 days 😉 How a Digital Audio file sounds, or a Digital Video file looks, is governed to a large extent by the Power Supply area. All that Identical Checksums gives is the possibility of REGENERATING the file to close to that of the original file. PROFILE UPDATED 13-11-2020 Link to comment

Chris found reason to do some housekeeping after an unnamed someone had a bit of fun with him surrounding the official 10 Year Anniversary announcement post. Too many hands in the tech and content hosting pool left a lot of holes rendering much of previous value worthless. I doubt he cleaned up the oldest available article to a readable form. I know nothing of the inner workings of CA or AS so I'll have to take your word for it. The Klipsch Bluetooth thing is great for what it is as long as you don't expect more from it. Superdad
Oh, actually I now see that even though my profile activity list does not go all the way back, the AS search engine will turn up some very old threads. Here is one I started long ago with a sort of origin story. Kind of fun to look back: UpTone Audio LLC Link to comment
