Clean USB not working on Allo USBridge Signature Player

Recommended Posts

Hardware: Allo USBridge Signature Player

OS: Volumio 2.853
DAC: Topping E30

When I connect my DAC to the rear ‘Clean USB’ port, it is not recognised by Volumio under ‘Output Devices’. Drop down menu only shows HDMI Out and Headphones.

When I connect the DAC to any of the two front ‘WiFi/BT’ USB ports, Volumio recognised the DAC and by default changes the Output Device to E30.

Is it possible that my USBridge Signature Player has a faulty Clean USB port? Is there a way to check if the USB port is receiving power?

Please help me solve this issue.

I have now switched to picoreplayer.

installed plugins, logged in to mysqueezebox, use the ipeng app in ipad to control it, as well as webbrowser for ipaddress.

problem is getting any audio out except hdmi.

both usbridge clean usbout and digione signature coaxial out produce no sound.

i have tried a few audiooutput suggestions in the squeezeboxsetting audiooutput device setting.

The closest one is allo digione, but doesnt work. have also tried usbout doesnt work. tried rapberrypi out doesnt work.

I want both outputs to work, so i can choose to hook upto a dac. the dac is rmeadi2dac.

Please help as im not getting any sound.

Hello,

I have also this frustrating thing:

When I connect my DAC to the rear ‘Clean USB’ port, it is not recognised by Volumio under ‘Output Devices’. Drop down menu only shows HDMI Out and Headphones.

When I connect the DAC to any of the two front ‘WiFi/BT’ USB ports, Volumio recognised the DAC and by default changes the Output Device to NAD USB AUDIO 2.

Is it possible that my USBridge Signature Player has a faulty Clean USB port? Is there a way to check if the USB port is receiving power?

Please help me solve this issue.

I use an NAD m51 dac with allo signature rpi 3b.
