sjj
Is there a way to do what I would call rudimentary room correction by taking measurements with something like REW and making adjustments using a software graphic equalizer that is part of software like Moode? Could some benefit be achieved even if it's not a full Room Correction filter implementation? Link to comment
Bill Brown
I think so, yes, and is what I am doing at this point, though some will argue (maybe correctly) that the full deal is better. I am using Audirvana with AU plugins with parametric EQs (better, I think, than graphic). I have EQs at my main two room modes, and some very gentle shaping in the upper midrange.
