Best version of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On"?

Recommended Posts

Haven't heard them all. The 24.96 that came out  in 2012 is good. This is 12 tracks, not the deluxe version or the 40th anniversary that has lots more tracks. I think it is still available. It doesn't seem to be volume compressed. There's also an SACD version. I know nothing about it.

Main listening (small home office):

Main setup: Surge protector +_iFi  AC iPurifiers >Isol-8 Mini sub Axis Power Conditioning+Isolation>QuietPC Low Noise Server>Roon (Audiolense DRC)>Stack Audio Link II>Kii Control>Kii Three >GIK Room Treatments.

Secondary Listening: Server with Audiolense RC>RPi4 or analog>Matrix Element i Streamer/DAC (XLR)+Schiit Freya>Kii Three .

Bedroom: SBTouch to Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Setup.
Living Room/Kitchen: RPi 3B+ running RoPieee to a pair of Morel Hogtalare.

All absolute statements about audio are false :)

Thx @firedog. I purchased Qobuz’s 24/192 version which sounds pretty good.

I am particularly interested in the MoFi SACD version that was release at the same time the 1-step LP was, I think.

Anyone with this version that can comment on it?
