It is better to ask your teacher. My opinion is, sustain pedal is must have and soft and sostenuto are not necessary.

 

Several different types of electrical specification of pedals exists (but mechanical connector shape is the same 1/4 inch phone jack😱). So it is safe to read your piano manual to find matching pedal model number.
