Peter Smith
I have “Passthrough” selected for MQA on my LUMIN U1Mini while streaming Tidal, and the Brooklyn DAC+ MQA indicator does not light up when playing MQA content. Can anyone explain to me what’s wrong? Link to comment
PeterSt
Maybe you apply digital attenuation (or EQ) in front of the DAC somewhere ? If so, MQA encoding won't be detected. lucretius 1 Lush^3-e Lush^2 Blaxius^2.5 Ethernet^3 HDMI^2 XLR^2 XXHighEnd (developer) Phasure NOS1 24/768 Async USB DAC (manufacturer) Phasure Mach III Audio PC with Linear PSU (manufacturer) Orelino & Orelo MKII Speakers (designer/supplier) Link to comment
wklie
In Mytek settings, you need to enable MQA Decoder. In Lumin app, please make sure Volume Control is set to Off. Please verify your can see "MQA" displayed in the Lumin front panel when you're playing Tidal MQA. Peter Lie LUMIN Firmware Lead Link to comment
NOMBEDES
MQA? I thought we all agreed that we did not like MQA. What gives? Oh dear. I am clutching my pearls. Do I have to rip the masking tape off of my MQA button? Guidance please!
