yaslam
Does anyone know why Qobuz Studio Premier isn't coming in Europe? Qobuz Studio Premier is currently offered for $15/£15 in the US and UK, but I keep paying €25 in Netherlands. Are they working on offering Studio Premier plan in Europe? I feel a little frustrated with them. Link to comment
Patatorz
Yes you are right and you can also add the family plan : available only in US, nothing in Europe and France.....for a French company. Seems they are still negotiating for Europe. Perhaps the same reason for the Studio Premier plan. yaslam 1 Blog / Forum Link to comment
b_machuel
The easy solution is to use a VPN and connect to qobuz from a US-based IP address. The $15 studio premier subscription will be available to you. Works like a charm. yaslam 1 Link to comment
yaslam
I also confirmed with Qobuz. It is currently under negotiation and the situation is temporary and they seem to be working on a Studio Premier plan in Europe. I checked the US classical catalog about a year ago, and it was missing a significant number more than the European classical catalog. I may need to check the US catalog again. Link to comment
yaslam
Finally Qobuz Studio Premier came in Europe. But I'm disappointed at €19.99/m. US $14.99/m, UK £14.99/m... Why? Link to comment
b_machuel
My recommendation remains the same: use a vpn to subscribe on their US website. I have not spotted any noticeable difference between the US catalogue and the European one so far. I am now considering an upgrade to the US Sublime option, given the (relatively) low price. yaslam
The migration itself is not difficult because I also have UK and US accounts. I compared each catalog the other day. I'm a classical fan, so it's mostly classical albums. Many albums are still missing in the US catalog compared to Europe. There isn't much difference between the UK and Europe, but I found some albums that are missing from the UK catalog. So I can't think of moving to the US or UK account right now. Link to comment
