Connections with Sonore OM

The Sonore forum is closed so I will ask my questions here and hope for the best.

 

i recently inserted two Sonore OMs (both powered by iFI LPs) in the line between my Win 7 ROON Core and my ASUS Router.   One end uses the Ethernet pigtail that Sonore supplied and the other connects to my PC via a 1 meter (unknown Cat rating)  Ethernet cable.   The fiber is 5 meters.

 

my questions:

 

1) How much break in should I expect?

2) How important are the Ethernet cables on the ends?   Does use of the Ethernet pigtails reduce the importance of Audiophile Ethernet cables?
